Premium Indonesian Candlenut (Kemiri) - Bulk Wholesale Exporter

Known locally as kemiri, candlenut (Aleurites moluccanus) has been a kitchen staple across Indonesia for generations, ground into pastes for rendang, gulai, and countless regional dishes as a natural thickener and flavor base. Beyond the kitchen, cold-pressed candlenut oil has found a growing market in natural cosmetics and haircare, valued for its light texture and traditional use in scalp and hair treatments.

We source raw candlenut kernels directly from smallholder farms across Indonesia’s candlenut-growing regions. After harvest, nuts are shelled, sun-dried to target moisture, and hand-sorted to separate whole kernels from broken pieces, giving buyers a consistent, gradeable product rather than a mixed harvest lot.

Whether you’re supplying a food manufacturer that needs whole kernels for grinding, or a cosmetic formulator sourcing raw material for cold-press oil extraction, we grade and pack to your specification.

Rigorous Quality Control & Guaranteed Export Documentation

Because we source directly from farming cooperatives rather than aggregating from multiple traders, we can offer more consistent grading batch to batch, an important factor for food manufacturers who need predictable results in production, and for cosmetic buyers extracting oil at scale.

Applications

Candlenut serves three main industries: food manufacturing (as a natural thickening agent and flavor base), cosmetics and haircare (cold-pressed oil for scalp and hair treatments), and, increasingly, as a feedstock for biodiesel production due to its high oil content.

Logistics & Trade Terms

Minimum order typically starts at 1 metric ton for trial shipments, with standard bulk orders from 5 MT upward. We ship FOB from Surabaya (Tanjung Perak), or CIF to your port on request. Lead time is usually 2-3 weeks from confirmed purchase order, depending on volume and current harvest stock.
